Some wheels that have decorative elements like slatic studs or polished milling are unable to go through the chemical stripping process. In these cases we hydro blast the surface for etching using a combination of high pressure water mixed with an aluminium oxide. This process does not remove the paint. Instead provides a surface on the old coating that will allow the new coating to adhere to whilst still protecting the parts we need to maintain there original finish.
