Some wheels have lost to much alloy to sand down and maintain the desired shape, in this cases we are able to rebuild the substate by filling the area with tig weld and re-shaping, once refinished you would not even know that such a repair has taken place, however if that area is located on a section of the rim that is cnc finished it will be visibly different from the rest of the rim in varying degrees.
Welding of cracks is a limited service we offer, and each wheel will be judged on an individual basis by our expert technicians to ensure the safety of the repair. Aftermarket wheels under no circumstance will have cracks welded as there build quality in many circumstances is already far inferior to those of an OEM standard.
